Bloody Mary Marinated Steak and Roasted Potato Wedges

with Great Frogs Powatinika

Marinating steak in Bloody Mary mix gives a delicious variety of flavors. Tomato juice should aid in tenderizing. The first time I had this preparation was using flank steak, which for the grill, is an excellent option. For this entrée I used a 1-1/2” New York Strip. Its really your choice, as is the Bloody Mary mix you choose. mixes come in many varieties, I suggest using your favorite! Served with roasted seasoned potato wedges and lettuce, beet stacks. Topping off the salad stacks with a bit of blue cheese dressing will hit the mark! Pour yourself a glass of Great Frogs Powatinika as you enjoy this entrée.

Enjoy!

What You’ll Need

Steak

To start with, the beef should be marinated in a covered glass container for 8 hours or overnight, refrigerated.

1 cup Bloody Mary Mix, or as much as needed to cover steak

2-4 Steaks

Roasted Seasoned Potato Wedges

6 med sized golden potatoes cut into wedges, place into large bowl and toss with 1-2 tsp olive oil

seasoning:

1/4 cup almond flour, or all purpose flour

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp dry mustard

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

Method

Mix seasonings and flour together in small bowl. Toss seasoning mixture with potatoes until evenly coated. place onto parchment lined baking sheet @ 400 Degrees for 25-30 min until golden brown. For crispier potato wedges, lightly spay oil over top of potatoes after seasoned.

Heat cast iron skillet on stovetop to med-hight heat. Once hot, place in steak for searing, turning once, 3-4 min per side. Next place in oven, uncovered for 15-20 min or until desired doneness.

(If grilling, you will already have heated your grill. Grill steaks while potatoes are roasting.)

Serve with your choice of green salad.

Enjoy!!
